NI-VXI/NI-VISA Driver for VXI Embedded Controllers and PCI-MXI-2

The NI-VXI/NI-VISA bus interface software is a comprehensive software package for configuring, programming, and troubleshooting VXI. NI-VXI/NI-VISA features a complete set of high-performance routines for industry-standard programming languages and intuitive tools for interacting with and troubleshooting VXI systems to accelerate your development. With NI-VXI/NI-VISA, you can develop systems that are portable across a variety of controller platforms, such as embedded and MXI-equipped, to protect your software investment. You can use this driver with National Instruments VXIpc-870B and VXIpc-770 embedded controllers as well as PCI-MXI-2 remote controllers.

NI-VXI/NI-VISA 2.1 works for kernel version 2.6 and has been tested to work with these distributions:

• Mandrakelinux 10.0 and 10.1 Official
• SUSE LINUX Professional 9.2 and 9.3
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS 4

In addition, NI-VXI/NI-VISA 2.1 is bundled with NI-VXI/NI-VISA 2.0.1 to provide kernel version 2.4 support.
